Honeymoon Runaround at Capital Vacations

Who wouldn’t want a Caribbean honeymoon?

Beautiful beaches. Luxurious resorts. Attentive service.

That’s what Randy and his wife were planning in 2020 before COVID led them to cancel everything.

And it was that dream that led them to a Capital Vacations sales presentation in Branson, MO last year. But according to Randy’s online review of Capital Vacations, dealing with the company was no honeymoon.

“Back in May of this year, 2023, my wife and I were in Branson, Missouri and we purchased the vacation package. At that time, we were given an extra 150,000 points for a dream vacation.”

Sounds perfect!

Randy specifically asked the Capital Vacations agent who sold them the points if they would be able to use the points to book the kind of all-inclusive, high-end resort they wanted for two weeks to celebrate their honeymoon.

“We were told by the sales rep that they can make this happen. That was the determining factor on us choosing to purchase the vacation package.”

Finally, the honeymoon of their dreams.

Except…it wasn’t.

“Since then we have been given the runaround between [the sales agents] in Branson, Missouri, as well as, the owners number [for Capital Vacations] in Myrtle Beach, SC.”

“[The sales agents] keep telling us that we should be able to book our wedding/honeymoon vacation in Jamaica. We were told to contact the owner’s number so they can book this trip.”

If you want something done, go to the top.

“When we contacted the owners’ number, they tell us that we’ve been lied to in that our request is not able to happen.”

That was the whole reason Randy bought the 150,000 points to begin with!

Unbelievable!

And sad. That’s the second honeymoon Randy and his wife that just ended up a bad dream.

“I have developed a very bittersweet taste in my mouth about Capital Vacations due to the fact that the vacation package has been misrepresented to us to get us to purchase the plan.”

That’s not much of wedding present for Randy and his new bride.

So, we’re cordially inviting you to let Travis Bary, the co-president of Capital Vacations, know.
